Description:

Aki Technologies’ Creative Solutions team is looking for a Motion Graphics Designer who can run the gamut from personalizing existing client videos to creating new videos for the Fortune 500 brands we work with. You will be collaborating with the Creative Director of Video, Sales, Planning, and Marketing teams on cutting-edge pitches and campaigns from concept to launch. Must be able to communicate design vision and deliver strong visual recommendations supported by strategic rationale.

Must have a motion graphic reel (preferred) and/or portfolio. Please submit your work and resume along with your application.

Responsibilities:
  • Ideate and improve upon existing brand videos
  • Produce video content and assets for use across mobile, desktop, CTV and DOOH devices
  • Storyboarding and video producing adhering to brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries and improving output
  • Ideation collaboration with creative, account management, planning, marketing, and sales teams
  • Asset gathering, clean up, optimization, and design for creative pitches
  • Work on multiple projects concurrently, utilizing reasonable discretion to balance competing time constraints whilst maintaining quality
  • Review timelines, set accurate estimates for delivery expectations, and keep stakeholders aware of status updates
  • Work on projects independently while managing priorities and workload to meet all deadlines
What you will bring:
  • 3+ years of professional motion graphics experience 
  • Experienced with Adobe CS, especially After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Familiarity with industry-standard editing workflows, video formats, codecs, and frame rates
  • Ability to follow creative brief and brand design guidelines with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong visual, design, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented in both design and thought process
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent listening, reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, and fun entrepreneurial environment
Desirable Skills/Experience:
  • Understanding of the tech industry and/or prior experience working at a tech/startup company
  • Basic knowledge of coding/programming.
  • Copywriting skills
  • 3D animation skills
