Aki Technologies’ Creative Solutions team is looking for someone with an art director’s eye and a developer’s brain, who can bring cross-device digital advertising to life. The Jr. Interactive Designer / Developer will play a key role in building and evolving our rich media and personalized video ad units across mobile, display, and CTV screens. If you can create elegant ad experiences using thoughtful design and front-end development techniques (Javascript, HTML5, CSS, web API’s), we’d like to hear from you! Applicants should be able to write clean, responsive code for development across desktop, phones, DOOH, and CTV. Experience with the Celtra ad creator platform is preferred. Familiarity with other ad creator platforms such as Google Web Designer, Jivox, Hype, or Innovid is a bonus.

  • Build cross-device rich media ad units (Mobile/Desktop/CTV/DOOH) using the Celtra ad building platform and Aki’s proprietary video platform
  • Testing and development of rich media and dynamic video product templates
  • Develop and modify external class components to be integrated into existing templates
  • Work with Creative Directors and Designers to ensure our creative vision can be realized from a technical standpoint
  • Light front end development (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • New functionality conceptualization and activation
  • Ideation collaboration with creative, account management, planning, marketing, and sales teams
  • Image gathering, clean up, optimization, and design for pitch work
  • Ensuring the creative vision can be realized from a technical standpoint.
  • Ideation collaboration with Creative, Account Management, Planning, Marketing and Sales teams for pitches and proposals
  • Powerpoint assembly
What you will bring:
  • 1-3 years of front-end development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • 1 year experience with digital advertising preferred
  • Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator) experience
  • Strong visual and interactive design skills
  • Solid grasp of web optimization principles
  • Detail-oriented in both design and thought process
  • Experience in digital advertising, graphic design and/or mobile design
  • Effective time management skills – Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
  • Must be self-motivated, proactively take initiative to improve processes and code
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, and fun entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to work across different verticals: from luxury brands to auto to package goods to spirits
