Most people are tired of political ads infiltrating their lives at the wrong times, like taking over TV’s and living rooms during family relaxation time. Recognizing this, one of the leading presidential candidates came to Aki with the goal of reaching constituents during more receptive moments—the moments they are actually engaged in political consideration.
The challenge was to craft a campaign that reached current supporters, undecided voters and those leaning toward another candidate.
To achieve this, Aki created custom Campaign Trail Moments, leveraging Aki’s Real-Time Events Targeting to identify the critical opportunities to influence voters. As a result, the candidate was able to surround events with ads that inspired attendees to donate on the spot, while enthusiasm levels were at their highest. Additionally, the campaign targeted on-the-fence voters and competitor events like speeches, rallies, town halls and benefit concerts.
Moment targeting worked on multiple fronts! Not only did the campaign drive higher donations at their own public events but, by conquesting their competitors’ events with messages, the campaign gave the presidential candidate a voice—while other candidates were trying to speak!
